The anguish of man arises from the fact that he wants to choose only what seems beautiful and
luminous: he wants only the rainbow, not black clouds laden with rain, but he doesn’t know that the rainbow cannot exist without those dark clouds, which are the indispensable background for it
to appear.
The starry Sky
Two things fill the mind with ever new and increasing admiration and awe, the more often andsteadily we reflect upon them: the starry heavens above me and the moral law within me. I do not seek or conjecture either of them as if they were veiled obscurities or extravagances beyong the horizon of my vision; I see them before me and connect them immediately with the consciousness of my existance.
Complete each other remaining indipendent = LOVE
It must happen sooner or later that two wild souls, who do not want to feel squeezed by anyone or locked in the corners of the world and who love each other enough not to run away or chase, stop to understand that this is being complete. It’s locking yourself in the open knowing that no one from the outside will be allowed to get inside.You can risk staying together all your life like this, without it being a threat but just a sublime state of grace and over-the-balance and embarrassing happiness. Love is to complete, never cancel, always look for yourself while remaining independent.
